With his expressive big blue eyes and a smile full of kindness, the little and adorable visitor from another world holds in his left hand a vase of flowers, something special to him as an alien botanist, while gesturing with the big fingers of his right hand, using the telepathic abilities to revive the flowers just like in the movie scene that made him loved and known throughout the world.
Directed by Steven Spielberg, 1982's "E.T. the Extra-Terrestrial" was the highest-grossing film in cinema history eleven years ago. The plot features a charismatic alien, small and robust with short legs, long arms and a giant head, who receives the nickname ET when he befriends a ten-year-old boy named Elliott.
ET was part of an expedition by a group of alien botanists, who
secretly visited Earth to collect specimens from a forest in California, but accidentally ended up being left behind by his colleagues who escape in their spaceship, being exiled to the planet as a result. Lost, he is found by Elliot, a boy who finds him hiding in his tool shed. Both create a great bond of friendship, and Elliot starts to protect him in every way possible, to prevent him from being captured and turned into a guinea pig and to help him get in touch with his species to return to his planet.
